Stop Your Doggy From Jumping

Puppy Training Manual

When considering methods for stopping your doggy from jumping up all the time, it is important to get why she is doing this in the first place. She does it because she is so very happy to see you and be with you!  This is typical dog behavior, though, not awesome for humans to have to endure.  And not to mention, if your dog  is a biggy, it can just plain hurt if he knocks you over. And you wanna stop dog jumping!

As a social animal, your doggy  is naturally going to get really happy when you get home or when you’re in the yard playing. They really give it all they got because they are just so darn HAPPY. But in the end, you gotta put a stop to it.

Some Little Dog Training Secretss To End The Madness

Little do we know, we actually encourage this activity of jumping up.  From an early age, many puppies are allowed to jump up and be pet and loved. Then the puppy grows up into a big doggy  that bowls you over every time you get home [from work].

So if no jumping is what we want, we gotta create a policy whereby no jumping is accepted.

Make sure and be consistent across the board that no jumping is allowed.  So, it is important to keep your family and close friends advised and up to speed with how to behave around your dog .  Don’t have mom and dad saying no to the jumping dog and the kids allowing it – your dog  will just get confused and the training will fail.

Make Sure Everyone In The House Knows Not To Let The Dog Jump Up.  And When They Are Ready Teach Your Family The Following Strategies For No Jumping.

* Try this technique on for size. Just cross your arms over your chest and look up if the next time your dog  jumps on you – she will get confused and will cease to jump. You’re gonna love the next Dog Training Tips!

* Another way is to hold his paws when he jumps up. Don’t crush them just hold onto them. Your dog  won’t like it and he will wiggle to get away. So, just hold on until that point and then let go saying OFF. Your dog won’t enjoy having his paws held like this. So be consistent in this training and your doggy won’t want to jump up of his own volition!

And right when his paws hit the ground, provide him with plenty of love and praise to let him know it’s better to be on the ground.

Be wary early on in the training when your doggy  might forget her what you’ve taught her and get really happy when you get home. Just be steady with the training and she’ll get it quite quickly.
